TASTING NOTES

This luscious shiraz is from the Portia Valley vineyards estate nestled at the top of the Monash Valley and on the fertile soils of Loveday in the sun drenched Riverland. The fruit for this wine is carefully selected to show opulent fruit characters and definition of flavour with a focus on ripeness of tannin and concentration. Deep and bright in colour, the nose is reminiscent of plum and blueberry jam with hints of green peppercorn and a complex underscore of straw and old leather. The palate shows more intense ripe berry flavours over a slight hint of tobacco-like oak and a waft of barnyard complexity. The finish is long and stylish.
