2022 Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
Select old vine fruit coupled with careful winemaking showcase a great expression of Cabernet Sauvignon - a variety for which the Langhorne Creek region is renowned.
Gentle winemaking in small open fermenters preceded a period of extended maceration on skins. Maturation in older French oak barrels followed for 16 months.
The wine displays a medium purple colour in the glass.
Classic varietal Cabernet Sauvignon aromas are complimented by blackcurrant and blueberry fruit and subtle cedary oak.
A lively, medium weight palate with integrated oak tannins. Layers of spice and earthiness lead to a fresh, lingering finish with well balanced acidity.
Cellar with confidence for the next 2-8 years.
Vegan friendly. Minimal sulphites added. 13.8% Alc/vol.
