Deep, Bright Garnet In Colour, The 2012 Merlot Exhibits A Perfumed Nose Of Cherries, Plums, Red Currant, Rhubarb And Traces Of Violets, Earth And Leather. Ripe Plums And Cherries Showcase On The Palate With Tobacco Leaf And A Slight Hint Of Cinnamon. Full-bodied And Well Balanced, The Chalky Tannins Allow For A Deep, Rich Lingering Finish.

The Winery Has Been Built Into The Hillside And Reflects The Natural Shape Of The Terrain. Without The Need For Pumps, We’re Able To Let Gravity Do A Lot Of The Work. This Saves Energy, And Treats The Fruit More Gently, Which Is Always Good News For The Wine We Make. It Also Means Our Winery Is A Naturally Cooler Space, With Less Need For Air Conditioning To Develop The Quality Of Our Wines.

Our Winery Has Been Designed To Be In Harmony With Our Beautiful Location. We’ve Chosen Locally Sourced Materials In The Construction - From The Stonework In The Walls, To The Concrete In Our Floors. The Wood You’ll See Inside - Our Tasting Bar, Our Restaurant Tables And The Detail Around The Building - Has All Been Selected From Our Estate.
